DESCRIPTION:
As the Senior DevOps Engineer at Tingis Web, you will play a pivotal role in designing and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our diverse range of digital products. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that our systems are reliable, scalable, and secure, aligning with industry best practices.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of CI/CD pipelines, collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to optimize deployment workflows, and troubleshoot complex system issues. Your role will require a deep understanding of DevOps principles, cloud infrastructure, and automation tools.
AS A SENIOR DEVOPS ENGINEER YOU’LL:
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development lifecycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and develop infrastructure solutions that meet business goals.
Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to improve stability and efficiency.
Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and on-premises servers.
Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and network issues.
Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in DevOps, incorporating new ideas and technologies into your work to continuously improve our infrastructure.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous learning within the team.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven track record of success in a DevOps role, with a portfolio showcasing your process and outcomes.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Github Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate technical decisions and rationale to stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, Agile environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
Proficiency in English is a prerequisite for the role, with a minimum level of B2 proficiency required, while C1 or C2 proficiency is preferred.
